Once again, Y2CP is innovative in providing assessments of memory and high quality psycho-geriatric services. Psychologists specializing in geriatric psychology, as well as a neuropsychologist, are now available to meet the needs of people living in the National Capital Region.

Using specialized psychometric tools, Y2CP is able to assess mnemonic difficulties - and/or cognitive disorders or underlying psychological distress - and, in the shortest time possible (generally less than one or two weeks).

Types of Assessments

  • Comprehensive neuropsychological assessments;
  • Psychological assessments (Psychological distress, personality, psycho-social aspects, etc.);
  • Assessments of cognitive deficits (MMSE for prescription/renewal, medication (Aricept, Reminyl, Exelon);

Clientele

Y2CP offers several types of psychological and neuropsychological assessments for children, teens, adults and the elderly. All our assessments are available in French and English and are focussed on diagnosis and the identification of proper treatment solutions.

Price

Our fees for psychological services are tax exempt and qualify for partial or total insurance coverage. Most insurance providers for Government departments/agencies cover up to 80% of psychological fees (up to $1000.00/yearly maximum per family member).

While our psychological assessments can vary in price from between $1400.00 to $1850.00; most cost $1850.00.

Neuropsychological assessments are billed at $185.00/hour.

Appointments/Cancellations

If you must cancel an appointment, we ask that you do so at least 24 hours ahead of time, either by calling the receptionist or leaving a message on our answering machine (819-777-7744). Your cancellation notice (24 hours before-hand) allows us to respond to the needs of other clients.

Failure to cancel an appointment will result in an agreed upon charge of up to 100% of the session. (For coaching and counseling services different cancellation policies may have been agreed upon with the client/client organization – see signed agreement for details as applicable).

Walk-in Clinic for psychological services Monday to Friday from 10 AM to 1 PM.
