Dr. Charles Leclerc, Neuropsychologist

Dr. Charles Leclerc completed doctoral level studies in neuropsychology (clinical/scientist model) at Université de Montréal. His doctoral thesis, which led to several scientific publications, focussed on cerebral reorganization in response to partial or total absence of stimulation in specific area of the brain. Dr. Leclerc is interested in the impact of brain lesion on cognitive functioning in activities of daily living. More importantly, he conducts neuropsychological evaluation, with the focus of enhancing individuals’ functioning. In addition, neuropsychological evaluations can be carried to assist with diagnosis investigations (e.g., alzheimer’s disease, vascular dementia). He has been working in a rehabilitation setting with stroke victims and has been involved in community re-integration task forces. In the past years, Dr. Leclerc has been providing neuropsychological assessment services to children, teenagers, adults and the elderly; in both French and English.

He is also a member of the « Canadian Society of Medical Evaluators (CSME) ».
